Directorial credits include: VS. Theatre’s inaugural production of The Credeaux Canvas (Critics’ Choice—Los Angeles Times) at the Victory Theater; U.S. premiere of the award-winning Hard As Nails by British playwright Jon Osbaldeston for Moving Arts at LATC; Aaron Samson’s solo effort Not Dead Yet at The Elephant Lab (L.A. Weekly Award Winner); Juston McKinney’s one-person show My Brother’s Father for HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen; and his own penned play, Just Because It Happened To You, Doesn’t Make It Interesting at the HBO Workspace; as well as directed productions at The MET Theater, Hudson Theater, Improv Olympic West, Artword Theater in Toronto, and Studio Dante and Center Stage Theater in New York, among others. Formerly, the Associate Producer of the HBO + Warner Bros. Television Workspace, currently, Paul is the Artistic Director of the Comedy Central Stage, a development theater venue sponsored by the network. In April 2005, he was appointed as Artistic Director of Moving Arts Theatre Company.
